Susan Jardine was born in the UK and grew up in the Maritime Provinces of Canada. She is a graduate of Mount Allison University, Sackville, NB. Susan has had a varied career, having sold real estate, worked in the fast food industry as a trainer and manager, worked for the Canadian Red Cross as a Blood Donor Clinic Coordinator, manager of a Seven Eleven store, manager of a dry-cleaning plant, etc. She worked for Service Canada in Vancouver for a number of years. She had worked as a Regional Representative for the Public Service Alliance of Canada in Charlottetown, PEI, as a regional Education officer for BC, and as a regional Coordinator for the Joint Learning Program BC/Yukon.
``The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity,`` said Susan Jardine.
``When I am painting, I feel full of joy and wonder that the colors and textures are coming from what I place on the canvas. I am in a state of joy and can only hope that the viewers of my art feel some of that joy.’’
