Paul Edouard Bourque is a visual artist whose artistic practice is based on the construction vs. deconstruction of imagery. His work makes use of a variety of expressive forms such as painting, drawing, printing and installation. For over forty years, Bourque has shown his work all over the world, and he is represented in many collections both public and private. In addition to his exhibition activities, Bourque has also worked as a teacher and mentor, and he has organized many workshops and presentations for various cultural institutions both local and national. Since 2015, he has curated several important exhibitions and art-based projects. He is a member of the Royal Academy of Canada.
