Self-taught artist native of the village of Balmoral, it is in 2011 that Carolle LeBlanc discovers the oils as well as the spatula. In 2014, she begins art classes with Art Central in Campbellton.
Carolle is one of the co-founding members of the Bay of Chaleur Symposium and is also a member of the organizing committee and the Board of Directors. She is also a member of the AAAPNB . She was a member of the Académie internationale des Beaux-Arts du Québec from 2014 to 2017, from where she won in 2015 in the "rising artist" category, the" Prix Palmarès" and the "Premier Prix Démo".
I paint with oils and use only the spatula on my canvases, from the largest to the smallest detail. I apply my oils using the wet-on-wet technique. This gestural and spontaneous technique gives me full freedom in my artistic expression. The colors and smells of nature, its reflections and nuances, as well as people and music are the source of my inspiration.
