I first learned about pictorial techniques in the world of oil painting. My first creations were born of many landscapes that surround me and the fascination exerted on me by the colorful and radiant characters that I meet. Very quickly, I realized my first paintings. I already had the essence of my artistic identity: to paint the light, to seek the energy, the essence of the elements that surround me.
Then, I sought to perfect my knowledge by exploring different mediums such as drawing, watercolor and stained glass, until I discovered the vibrant colors of acrylic, a real favorite. The versatility and richness of this medium seduced me and led me to realistic and semi-realistic painting, a universe with infinite possibilities. September 2016, the oil comes back on my brush and I tames the faces.
Converted to oil and enjoying the acrylic, I let myself be carried by the colors and I favor the vibrant tones. When I start a painting, I give way to the beautiful discoveries that are added over time. I use a spatula, a brush or a sponge and I do not hesitate to put my fingers to contribution if necessary. I also favor different texture mediums to give depth in my paintings. The stained glass on canvas is also a technique that I particularly like because the mixture of colors is played with the different mediums used in creating the canvas.
Presently, my way of understanding painting is reflected in the exploration of natural elements, still lifes, sheaves of flowers, subjects that interest me and have fascinated me since time immemorial. I paint by observing and basing myself on my perception of realistic colors. Through my works, I try to reveal the spiritual dimensions that connect us to life.
