Denis Lanteigne

Denis Lanteigne is from Caraquet. He graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Moncton and entered Bathurst College in 1973 where he is studying graphic arts, sculpture and photos.

After a few years in Caraquet in the field of advertising and artistic projects,
he moved to Montreal in 1982. He worked in the field of the headgear, in collaboration with his spouse. Styles, colors and fabrics lead him to make three-dimensional objects and he continues his approach towards objects of art.

In 2003 the artist opens a workshop in Caraquet and works on various sculptural projects and Photographic. He has been working on outdoor installations since 2011. He is the director of Center of Artists, The Blue Constellation, a collective of artists who manage the Art Gallery
Bernard Jean. He has served on the boards of AAAPNB, artsnb and the Cultural Commission of Caraquet.
