Carolle LeBlanc is a self-taught artist and a native of Balmoral in northern New Brunswick. She discovered oils and the palette knife in 2011, when she immediately adopted this dynamic technique. She uses only the spatula on her canvases, no matter how big or small the detail. She applies her oils using the wet-on-wet technique, a gestural and spontaneous technique that allows full freedom for her artistic expression. For the past few months, she has been favoring femininity and / or romanticism.

Carolle has been a member of the Académie Internationale des Beaux-Arts du Québec since 2014, where she has won the Prix Palmarès and the Premier Prix Démo in the emerging artist category in 2015. She is a member of the Bay of Chaleur Symposium organizing committee and Board of Directors. Carolle has participated in exhibitions (solo and group) around New Brunswick.
