Terrie Chedore, born in Campbellton, N.B., is an emerging visual artist. She studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, and the Ottawa School of Art in Ontario. Further years of independent study strengthened her artistic sensibilities.
Significant life experiences (major job changes, the death of a child, and a diagnosis of leukaemia) led her into theological studies and social justice activities. A dual degree in diaconal ministry with the Centre for Christian Studies and the University of Alberta finally brought her passion for art, spirituality and social justice together.
Over the past three years, Terrie has participated in numerous juried exhibits and received awards for her artwork. She displays her paintings in multiple venues in her area including municipal offices, church worship services, libraries, local storefronts, and small galleries.
Terrie moved to Iroquois, Ontario in 2011 with her husband, Bill. She is a member of The South Grenville Guild of Fine Art in Prescott, Ontario, and the Focus Art Association in Cornwall, Ontario.
