profile
Thelma completed her studies in the Gaspésie. She has been living in Campbellton for forty years, and married with one daughter. She has worked in customer-service management for
twenty-five years.

In 1989 Thelma began her interest in visual arts. Creative from a young age, she undertook studies with a master artist Albert Breau in Montreal, learning to mix colors and paint
with oils.

Currently, she likes working with various mediums and evolving her personnel
style. She likes warm, vibrant colors and textures. For Thelma, an autodidact,
painting is renewal.

Active as a artist, Thelma helps to promote artists through the workshops she has been
giving since 1995, by exhibiting her students locally and away, and doing projects with her
painting group of several years' existence. Thelma's inspirations are often born from a
memory, a dream or a view. Her works are often emotions that she expresses in her
paintings where she shares secret of her life with you.
