Rebecca Belliveau is an artist living in Moncton, NB. She completed her Bachelor's degree in visual arts at the Université de Moncton and continued her studies at Concordia University in Montreal in contemporary art. She was awarded the New Brunswick Arts Grant in the Creation category in 2012.
Specializing in photography and painting during her studies, Rebecca developed her own technical approach that integrates contemporary painting and photography to create mixed-media paintings in a unique style.
Since 2010, she has exhibited her paintings in art galleries in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Maine (United States) and Paris (France) in both solo and group exhibits. Her paintings are collected by public and government organizations and by private collectors.
She is a member of the Acadian Association of Professional Artists (AAAPNB) and the Canadian Artists' Front (CARFAC). Rebecca is a member of the management committee for Galerie 12 located in the Aberdeen Cultural Centre (Moncton) and is represented by the Société Culturelle Kent-Sud (Bouctouche) and Apple Art Gallery (Moncton).
Since 2015, Rebecca Belliveau has done presentations and workshops of her original artistic approach to adults and students in Canada and France.
